So last post, I had some comments from my friends wondering which are the best smartphone accessories that are in the market right now? Let's face it. Today, you can't have just a phone. You gotta give it some attitude and personality with the way you dress it, the way you give it power, and the way you interact with it. Well I decided to give you guys a treat of staying under budget. Who wouldn't want to have that Christmas feeling of opening up a new tech and still save a little bit of money? Yes, to be honest, you don't really need new electronics but hey, it's only under $15 -- it wouldn't hurt! Trust me as you go through these 5 techs that you can get right now on Amazon.
1. Lumsing 2-Port 5V Universal USB Charger It's time to end the conversation of who's having the wall charger first with your friend, because this is a 2-Port USB charger. Those crazy little Apple and Samsung hubs sometimes get lost because of its size, but with Lumsing's bigger size of its hub, it's hard not to forget this behind. The charger also has a textured surface to "minimize the risk of dropping the charger." Hey! Who wouldn't what that? The product comes in three different colors: blue, orange, and white.
2. PopSockets: Expanding Stand and Grip
This is a trend that's for smartphones right now. Smartphone users know the pleasurable greeting of dropping the smartphones on their face. Feels good, right? Well if you're over it, these are for you. For only $9.99 on Amazon, you can stick this nifty little guy on the back of your phone and gain full confidence for texting, calling and of course selfies -- without straining your hand trying to grab for the life of the phone. The PopSocket also acts as a stand for a landscape orientation. There are multiple designs available on Amazon. Get yours right now! Note that there are others out there that are less than $10, so if you're spending more than $15, please do your research.
3. Misfit Wearables Flash - Fitness and Sleep Monitor
Last post, I introduced you guys to Withings Go Activity and Sleep tracker. While that retailed for $49, you can actually get the same for $15 that's going on sale right now. The black version of this is going for $15.92 and other colors start off at $22. However, unlike the Withings Go watch, Misfit is only splash proof, which means that it can resist any small interactions of water -- don't take it swimming! The convenient thing about this is that it is non-charging. The only thing you need to do is find a replaceable battery which will allow you to have 6 months of extra watch life.
4. Monoprice Lightning USB
Alright, so for iPhone users out there, and probably Samsung users too, you know that pain of seeing that bump near your connectors, right? That weird wire-callus (as I like to call it) the wire gets from bending too much? You know that this is a sign of a weak cable. This is why #4 is the Monoprice Lightning USB, which has its wire in a "tangle free nylon braided jacket." This means that this will remain strong and portable throughout. Another nifty little thing about this guy is the LED status indicator. It bursts out an orange light if it's in charging mode, and switches to green to let you know that it's fully charged. This USB comes in two colors (black and white), comes in three sizes, from six inches up to six feet and best of all, it's Apple MFi Certified!
5. M-Better Smartphone Holder
This last phone accessory is one of my favorites. Gone are the days of dropping my phone to a never-ending abyss - which is usually just under my seat. This little guy can just pop on your air vent and from there, you can insert your phone with a press of a button - any phone, actually. The cradle can turn into 360 degrees for best viewing angle. It's very convenient to use as a navigation, that way you don't have to look on your lap or on your side. I find it also safe for having the phone on your line of sight with the road. But as always, always focus your eyes on the road and avoid texting with these guys. Trust me, it's hard.
